Hip Hop Caucus (HHC) is a national nonprofit merging culture and policy, who recently participated in the Hollywood Climate Summit.

The Hollywood Climate Summit organizes high-energy events and coordinates creative partnerships for cross-sector media professionals to level up their climate knowledge, align strategies, deepen intersectional values, showcase innovation, and lead a cultural movement of sustained climate action.

Grammy-winning artist Tarriona “Tank” Ball and HHC’s Senior Director of Storytelling, Brittany Bell-Surratt, led powerful conversations on how Black creativity and leadership are shaping environmental justice.

Both women, as dynamic Black voices in music and advocacy, brought authentic, DEI-centered perspectives to the national stage.

The work HHC does includes community-centered campaigns on clean energy access and voter mobilization, which makes them a unique voice for equity in spaces where DEI often feels like a checkbox.
